Summit 2020

Due to distancing standards for Covid-19, we will be postponing Summit 2020 indefinitely

We feel it is wisdom to increase distancing and limit travel at this time. One of the guiding documents in our decision is the Government of Canada’s Risk assessment grid for mass-gatherings. Click on the button below if you would like to use the matrix for other gathering decisions in your world.

We are “postponing” because we know how important it is for us to gather together, and especially around a topic about the Future Church. We will keep you posted about new dates…perhaps the Fall? We will let you know.

If you registered, we will be crediting your payments back to you as soon as possible.

Jeff Christopherson and his wife, Laura, live in Oakville, Ontario. They have two children, Kelley and James.

Jeff Christopherson

We are excited to have Jeff share this year, author of several books and co-executive director of Send Institute, “a think tank for evangelism and church planting in North America”.

Jeff is a relentless advocate for centering on the Kingdom over the church, yet dedicated to planting churches. As his latest book title puts it, we need to put kingdom first and start churches that shape movements. We will hear a fresh message for our time.

Jeff counts as his heroes: Henry Blackaby and Jack Conner.  He feels privileged to have had them as his mentors growing up in Northern Saskatchewan.

Jeff Christopherson's Books, Blog and Work are about fostering Kingdom movements of reproducing churches that transform neighborhoods and the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jeff is co-exec chair of the Send Network.

Summit 2020 – Future Church – Restoration of the Way of Jesus

Jeff will present twice and participate in panel discussions with us so we can go deeper. We are really excited about how his ideas might shape our culture as we interact with him and each other.

The Pre-Conference Lecture

Secularity as Opportunity for Clarity

More than his obvious penchant for rhyme, this topic will do more than tickle our minds on Sunday night.

We kick off the conference proper Monday night responding to that lecture. This takes us deeply into who “we” are in our world, and challenge us to re-evaluate the secular/sacred divide.
Tuesday we have our second touch-point lecture

Characteristics of Future Church Movements

Our discussions will build toward a more practical question of, “how do we build kingdom now?”

Of course, we will also have breakout sessions, worship, and my personal favorite…food.

Remember last year?…
