Dreams Remembered & Fulfilled

Evangel – Fall 2015

Alumni News

After many years of planning and fund-raising, the library floor was completed in July. Thank you to everyone who donated money, moved books, pulled up carpet or put in the floor. I would like to offer Jeffrey and Jennifer Brayne special thanks for helping to bring this project to completion.

The September 19th lunch for alumni of the first 35 years was a precious time of sharing and re-connecting. Linn Rehn displayed items and pictures from the archives. She gave an excellent presentation of her ongoing work in preserving, not only the history of Alberta Bible College, but also the Restoration Movement in general, including individual churches, camps, missionary societies, and PYPA. There are still gaps to fill and resources needed for this crucial work.Psalm 31:24

Allan Dunbar read a letter from his father, Marvel Dunbar, who is the oldest surviving alumnus of the college, graduating in 1949. Allan later led a hymn-sing in the chapel, reminding us how fun and meaningful our old favorites are. He used hymns to lead us through God’s story, from creation to the cross to eternity. A special thanks to you, Allan (class of 1961) for bringing this special time to us. You have always been a cherished friend and supporter of ABC.
