Requirements for admission into the Diploma Programs are:
A Grade 12 diploma, its recognized equivalent, or consent of the Enrollment Committee
Students must provide proof of English language competency equal to or exceeding a score of one of the following:
60% in Alberta English 30-1 or equivalent
Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL) – 70
Canadian Language Benchmark: Listening, Level 8; Reading, Level 8; Writing, Level 8
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic – 6.5
Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) – 85
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic – 60
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT – 86
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Paper-based – 560

Before declaring a specific PACE specialization, students may take up to a maximum of five courses as a way of sampling PACE and/or meeting a specific training or interest need.

Applicants without a high school diploma will be conditionally accepted and must maintain a 2.00 GPA (a grade of C or higher) for the first two courses. Failure to maintain a 2.00 GPA may require work with an academic coach in order to continue studies.
Prospective students that do not meet all requirements may have their applications individually considered by the Academic Services Team. Applicants granted conditional acceptance will be encouraged to create an action plan in order to fulfil the necessary requirements.
